I've been working on this '50s diner for my architectural portfolio since a little while. Inspired by 66 Diner in Albuquerque, this structure is a very obvious representation of the late art deco architecture style. This architectural movement is also often referred as "streamline moderne". Everything, starting from the white painted concrete walls and ending by some chrome and steel elements, together with generous use of neon lightning, is a must for the streamline oriented construction. You may have noticed these portholes (illuminators as we also say), well it is very common for this kind of architecture as well, you should have a look at Miami and specially at its famous Ocean Beach drive to witness streamline at its peak.
The 3d model is however game oriented, the base structure has no AO map because I usually rely on the game engine AO shading, as all the new engines have it already implemented. There are still some work to do on the interior parts, stay connected !
